Neighborhood Bird Outing: BIPOC Birding at Lake Sammamish + optional Pot Luck
Neighborhood Bird Outings are open to all with no pre-registration required. Group size will vary. Outings occur rain or shine, though will be canceled for dangerous weather conditions. Please leave pets at home. This is an all-ages walk. We will meet by the parking lot by the Rotunda Shelter. We hope to see a wide variety of birds, including wood ducks, mergansers, kingfishers, and woodpeckers. Birding wraps up around 12pm. We will also be hosting a small optional potluck after the walk, from 12pm to about 1pm. Feel free to bring snacks and desserts, or anything that you'd like to share with the group. We will bring a treat, so come join for the social even if bringing something is not accessible for you.
