It is good for viewing waterfowl in Portage Bay as well as woodland birds in the neighborhood parks. A portion of the walk lends itself to finding birds by their sounds, so we hope to practice our birding by ear skills. Our route will cover no more than 2 miles and usually takes 2 hours, depending on what we see and hear. Dress for weather; bring binoculars, water & snacks. Over by 10:00am.
