Limit: 12 Trip accessibility: 1 (leisurely pace), A Juanita Bay Park is a nice little gem on the NE shore of Lake Washington located in Kirkland. If you like Wood Ducks, this is the place to be. 50-75 Wood Ducks can be expected along with many other wintering waterfowl. There are usually several Bald Eagles looking for their next meal. The birds are so used to people that they are sometimes seen right along the viewing areas. This is a good place to bring a camera. There are no passes needed. We commonly see Wilson's Snipes and Killdeers along the shore. The woods host wintering and resident passerines. The trails are flat and mostly paved, mixed with boardwalks. It is not a big park so we will probably be done by noon. *If the ticket fee in any way makes this trip inaccessible to you, please do not hesitate to reach out to sarahh@birdsconnectsea.org mailto:sarahh@birdsconnectsea.org to request a fee waiver*
