There are small trees where one could secure a bike. Trip Accessibility: 1 (leisurely pace), A (mostly level and paved), ~ 2 miles walking. Restrooms at the start of our route. Hello fellow Queer Birders! Get ready for weird duck season! This park features views of Forbes Creek Wetland, Juanita Beach and Juanita Bay. It is a Green Kirkland Partnership restoration area. The maximum slope of the trail is moderate, with mostly flat walkways, such as the boardwalks. We will be staying in relatively close proximity to the car park, with plenty of turn around points along the way. Bathrooms are easily accessible the whole trip. This walk is geared specifically for everyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ and of any level of birding experience is welcome.
