Limit: 15 Trip Accessibility: 0A (Essentially no walking on level pavement) Join us at Cedar River Mouth in Renton, WA to appreciate the wonders of fall migration in the PNW! This will be a sit-and-scope style trip with very minimal walking, and will be heavily focused on gulls, shorebirds, and the often-complex ID challenges that they can pose. The list of possible species is long and includes shorebirds such as Western, Semipalmated, Baird's, Least, and Spotted Sandpipers, as well as Semipalmated Plovers, Killdeer, and Long-billed Dowitcher. Additionally, Glaucous-winged, Ring-billed, Short-billed, and California Gulls are all possible. Participants are encouraged to bring their own spotting scopes, binoculars, and cameras if they have them, however leaders will also provide optics for participants to use as needed. Birders of all levels are welcome.
