Save the Date: Seattle Christmas Bird Count
ConservationVolunteer & Science
Join Birds Connect Seattle for a fun day of community science! Established in 1900, the Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is the longest running community science survey in North America. Approximately 300 volunteers survey the count circle (15 miles in diameter) centered in downtown Seattle, to identify and count every single wild bird seen or heard. All levels of birders are welcome to participate on an in-field team or from the comfort to their own home. Join the post-count celebration at Reuben's Brews Barrel House in Ballard to meet with other volunteers and share stories from your day. More information and registration link coming soon!
